Special Agent and T-Road Pearl
« on: November 08, 2006, 01:27:50 PM »
Just wanted to drop everybody a note to say that we got the 2 new balls out here. It looks like the Special Agent will be in play for most of our staff this week, and the T-Road Pearl looks great as well. When time allows, i will post a little more in-depth review

Jeff...

Really interested to hear your thoughts / comparison of the Special Agent -vs- the original.  You seem to typically drill one pin-up and one pin-down...would like to hear how that changes the shape (for you) with the new Agent.

I've got an original angent drilled 5-1/2 pin down @ 45 degrees and love the ball on tournament conditions.  Sometimes I need to get into the lane a bit more and the ball just don't have enough motor...seems like the Special Agent would be the logical choice.

The ball looks awesome, can't wait to get one and use a similar layout to the one PDW used. Also on the The T Road Pearl, the coverstock was alot more aggressive than I expected.. I put the pin 5½ from axis and the ball was still strong.

I know that the T-Road Pearl is listed
as pearl... but the one at the shop
looks nothing like any pearl I've
ever seen... It looks like a blue version
of the original black Thunder Storm..
white swirls and all..
