I understand that all balls become asymmetric after drilling, but is the Optimus core mildly asymmetric to start with? Thanks!

A lot of balls that are marked as symmetric are mild-asymmetrics that are not required to be marked with a mass bias.

Summarized, even if it is slightly asymmetric, an Optimus will still show the characteristics of a symmetric.

It is a symmetric design. I wont get into a quibble on whether it has some minor degree of asymmetrical attributes.

Symmetrical core shapes such as these can lend themselves to aiding in the creation of asymmetry with proper layout and consideration for reaction enhancing weight holes...
That's not to say this was the intent with the core in question...
