Title: Physix/HyperCell Fused
Post by: skfboiler on November 13, 2018, 07:43:52 PM
I am considering the Physix. But, I already have the HyperCell Fused. Would these 2 balls work good together on the THS during league? I was thinking using the Physix on the fresh. Then follow up with the HyperCell Fused during transition.

My HCF is PLENTY of ball for a THS.

The Physix just seems like too much ball for a typical house pattern.....look at the cover and the numbers.

That shit would hook in my backswing.

I have both and actually use them as my first and second out of the bag.  When I get to where I am as deep as I can go with my speed dominant style, if I hit a transition the I ball down from PhysiX to HCF on the same line I was using.  Works perfectly.  2 best balls I have thrown in a long time.  The PhysiX is already looking like an all-time ball for me.

I guess it depends on your style and the surface you are bowling on.

The Physix is a monster ball that I cannot use on a THS as it puts me too far left right away.  The HCF with a little surface (3000 in this case) is the perfect THS ball.  With the box shine on it, the ball is too wild off the breakpoint as the angles it generates are huge.  I could see using the shine on a broken down, long pattern, but that isn't what you are bowling on.

For me, a good THS setup is HCF and Hustle INK. -- that's really all you need.

Two completely different balls for me with the Physix being much earlier and stronger throughout the midlane. As others have said, Physix is probably too strong for most THS unless you're speed dominant, and in my case the HCF is too strong for most of the THS I see.

I have to say I find the Physix intriguing for my sport bag.  Something like that can be useful on longer and tighter patterns.  The only hole in my bag right now is a boomer......  :-\
