Fusion or iq tour pearl for my benchmark ball

Looking for a ball that gives me the most versatility on a typical house shot. I had a iq tour pearl but ball got stolen at a recent tournament. Worked fairly well on most house shots but I also am interested in the new fusion. Last few weeks on THS i can't seem to get through 3 games with the same ball. I know with the iq tour pearl I was able to bowl 3 games quite a bit without switching to a different ball. Not sure if the Fusion will be too much on a typical house shot. Don't  bowl many tournaments anymore so I basically want a ball I can always start with and go from there. Wish I could buy both both times are tough.

Fusion is like the pearl with more backend and the ability to handle more oil. If you ever had moments where your pearl would squirt through the break point, get the fusion. If you ever thought you would like more backend or would like to open up the lanes more, get the fusion. If none of this ever occured, stick with what you know and love.

Not bashing the fusion, but I have watched two people throw it against me. One person started with the zero gravity, balled down to the tour fusion for about six frames before finishing the night with the pearl. The other threw the fusion for one game, and had a severe over under reaction the whole game, switched to the lights out and started scoring well. Maybe it just didn't match up to the shots those two nights? I have seen 3 other people throw it, but never watched.

Oh! I saw one other woman throwing the fusion on the same night as the guy that switched to the lights out. I think she was fighting the shot all night. I saw her use a lot of different balls, two of them being the fusion and the diva

Thanks for the info.   Currently throwing a Defiant soul for oil   Nano pearl for med. and Hyroad pearl for dry. Still bring the tropical Heat in case lanes are scorched. Time to replace the nano pearl with something close. That is why I am looking at fusion or IQ tour pearl.

Will be much weaker than the nano pearl!  Weaker cover and weaker core....

How does sound for a ball rotation from most to least:  Soul-  Heavy oil

                                                                           Fusion-  Medium

                                                                            Hy Road pearl - Med/dry

                                                                            Tropical Heat    dry/scorched

Which Tropical Heat do you have?
I had the orange/purple pearl and it wasnt weak at all.  It handled more oil than my iq pearl and was a little stronger off the dry too.  I wound up selling it to a buddy because it wasnt good for me on scorched lanes, which is what i originally wanted it for.  In hindsight i wish i went for the tropical breeze instead.

I'm not sure what kind of look your going for or how you bowl, but Marvel Pearl might be worth taking a look at. Similar overall hook to Fusion but a little earlier and smoother break. Very continuous for a pearl.

Marvel Pearl is a definite all around benchmark for a pearl piece.
Other than that I'dimagine going IQ Tour can  be apart of your andduandr selection.  The Tour has great read throughout the pattern, ample recovery, and very driller friendly

Through the fusion for the 1st time last night. Ball rolls great. A lot more pop at back end compared to iq tour pearl. Ball crunches the pins. I can see me picking another iq tour pearl up since mine was stolen at a recent tournament. It would be a nice step down from the fusion. Hopefully the fusion will be my go to ball on most shots that I bowl on. Drilled mine pin above ring finger for some length and nice movement on back end.
