Title: Prodigy
Post by: MTbowler on November 20, 2014, 12:24:07 PM
Hi all,

Have an old Prodigy that is in excellent condition, going to re-drill it and want some suggestions from people that have had success with this ball.

My tournament arsenal is good to go, therefore, I am looking to make this my THS ball. Our shot is medium to heavy, with not a sharp backend, can be hard to get the ball to turn first 1-1/2 games. Speed off hand is around 16-17 mph and revs are 380-400. PAP around 4 1/2 by 5/8 up.

Any suggestions on a layout?

Thank you!

Prodigy is not a big hooking ball by the new standards. My pap is about the same as yours and drilled mine below bridge with rev hole on P3. This rolled very nice for me. My son drilled his pin above bridge and has a few more revs and higher track than I do, but is still his favorite ball on a med-heavy house shot.

My prodigy shine when the their was oil upfront, but back ends were very snappy.  It smoothed everything out.  It also performed good at nationals for me.
