Pros and the Ragin Banshee
« on: November 12, 2005, 12:00:03 AM »
BEen going to the storm tour board...noted that they are using out there the Paradigm...Diablo...Vertigo and the Fired UP.

As their main balls out there by tour staff.

I was surprised no one is using the Ragin as I threw it and saw it as one of the cleanest particles I've ever seen but some real nice "bite" at the break.

Seemed to have great breakpoint control.

I bowl on a shot that reminds me of that bouncy patternE that Tommy Jones won on a couple of weeks ago!

Can you say extreme wet/dry??

What is the address for the Storm Tour Board? I've never come across it.

Learn to be versatile on the lanes. It is a lot cheaper in the long run.

Oh here is the pattern he is trying to conquer!

PS the one I threw had the pin one inch above ring!!  Quite a powerful bite and fling to the pocket. I'm sure the drilling on above pattern will be tamer!
PPS I've found that these balls with moderate flare(for today ie .40 range) can cover a very big part of the lane with tons of flare if drilled strong(ie pin near 3 3/8) and can then also be switched back to a control ball on conditions like above with weaker pins to smooth out backend!  ie my flashpoint with a 3 1/2 pin covers a ton more lane than my 4 3/4 pin to pap El Nino WRath!

First--Guzz good luck this week!!!  I may get over from Madison to watch you guys/gals.

Second--The Masters pattern at Bowlero is a very tough condition for most.  I don't see many players playing out unless right on the gutter.

Whoever bowls well on this pattern will deserve it....no gift here.  I see PDW doing well this week.

PDW killed a regional in York over the summer with a Ragin.  I wish I had more to add to that, but I was too awed by how well someone could throw a ball.
