Title: RAD+ Core
Post by: millertime0299 on September 27, 2012, 12:45:19 PM
I've never owned a ball with the RAD+ core.  How would it be different compared to the Shape Lock HD core?  Harder off the spot?  I would love to see the next Premier Line ball have the RAD+ core because it looks like it would be very strong.

I think storm could sell a few with the virtual or the hyroad cover.  But I'm sure their motives are otherwise.

That HyRoad cover is tough to beat for a hybrid.  Storm has tried to kill that ball off for the last several years and still can't find anything that matches it that well.

EVERY HYBRID BALL STORM PUTS OUT HAS MAJOR SUCCESS.  For example. the hyroad, the virtual energy, the frantic. the hyroad is still being produced and sold today and it was made in 2008... they need to put a hybrid on that mad core and call it perfect storm.

you really want to look at the coverstock on the ball. that lets you know if it is strong or not. that is how bowling balls work nowadays. and it is a premier line ball so your pro shop staff should be able to make it hook off the walk or make it weak and straight. it all depends on what you want.

I matched up so much better with the RAD+ core balls than I have Shape-Lock balls.

Overall the strength at the time was top notch, but like others have said with the older covers they will be a bit weaker than the newer stuff.
