Title: Rapid Fire.
Post by: J Dubs on January 27, 2008, 05:52:30 AM
Looks to be a Favorite on Tour right now, with PDW using one last week and as well as PDW and Shafer today on the Show. Haven't seen many posts aqbout this ball, mostly the Gravity. This New one is basically a FiredUp with the Special Agent cover, and polished. Should be a must-have in the bag.

I can't wait for it to come out, I may have to pick one up even though it'll overlap most of my arsenal lol

Saw a guy throw it last night in league.  Seemed to have near the same ball motion as my spit fire I was throwing on the same pair.  Maybe a tad bit longer and few boards weaker.  Looked like a great piece.

Do you think it will have a smoother reaction to friction than the T-Road Pearl?  My T-Road Pearl acts like a piece of gum when it finds a dry board.

Also, I'm really curios as to how this ball will compare to the Thunderstruck Solid.  My next ball choice will either be a Rapid fire or a Thunderstruck solid.

Good observation. One key difference is the OOB finishes are different between the two balls. Other than that, the 15# specs are awefully close. I would guess with similar drills and similar finishes that T-road solid would be a tad earlier.

I was actually trying to get an idea of the comparison between the Rapid fire and the Thunderstruck Solid (The purple one) not the T-Road Solid...

Ah! My appologies.  I misread.
