Just picked up a Rapid Fire and was wondering how well it will replace my Dimension. Now my main question is what is the Twin-V core supposed to do. I have my Dimension drilled pin above the ring finger. What drilling will make them similar.

High Game = 299
High Series = 816
Revs/Speed = 300rpm at 15-17 mph

These balls are not very similar at all. The Dimension has a rolly motion by nature, plus it needs oil thanks to the strong R2X coverstock. The Rapid Fire has a more angular motion by nature, plus the slightly weaker R2S coverstock (that even comes polished OOB) is meant more for medium conditions.

RFS is a pretty good benchmark ball but I would not replace a Dimension with it. I have a 2D and it's below that ball even with the polish taken off of it.

The plan was to have it at like 1000 abralon with a pin down layout. And my dimension was at 2000 abralon with a pin up drilling. So this was my way to make them similar

It''s 1500 grit polish which means it''s hit with a 500 pad and then light gray scotchbrite and then storm finish two. Taking the polish off would make it around 800. I have mine pin down down already and my pin up 2D outhooks it. I compared them side by side today.
