needing advice on new ball

I need advice on buying a new ball for mostly dry lanes. I am not very experienced but I am wanting to improve. Thanks

The Street Rod Pearl is Storm's weakest ball in the current line.  From what I've heard it's still more of a light oil ball.  Depending on how dry the lanes really are it could work.  What are you currently throwing and what's happening?

Tropical hooks less than a Street Rod Pearl.

Weakest option would be a Tropical, but the cover is still pretty strong. Might work with a weak length drilling, but IMO Storm does not have a true dry lane ball in store.

But: there is are 2 overseas urethane pieces available, the Tour Block NU (pearl with pancake) and Tour Block II (solid with a tad more differential), these shoudl fit your bill well - if you can get hold of them...

I would suggest av pearl,slide or neptune for a good drylane ball(I have trouble with playing straighter especially when the lanes dry out and the av pearl with the drylane  drilling was just the ticket for me.

I'd recommend the Rotogrip Neptune as a dry lane ball.  The polished coverstock and the core is a perfect match for playing dry to light oil.

I absolutely forgot about the Tropical.  Depending the extent of the dry, I'd agree that either an Avalanche Pearl or Neptune are better than something from Storm.
