reactor coverstock

Is the reactor coverstock hard to keep clean or is it just me? I have a tropical which seems to get dirtier than any other ball I have owned. Other than the dirt issue, the tropical is probably my favorite ball right now. Very versatile and the hit is very consistent.

Nope.
Remember, a Tropical is designed for drier conditions; as such, you're likely to use it more often when there is much less oil than normal. For your every day bowling center, those can be slightly neglected, therefore dirtier conditions. So your ball is likely to have less oil but more dirt.

Just use a decent cleaner after each session, Before you put the ball back in the bag. It should take all of 30 seconds.

I can give a little personal advice on this one.  Use Track's Powerwash cleaner after everytime you bowl.  It comes in a spray bottle so it is pretty easy to use.  I have a black/red Tropical Storm and any smudges or dirty spots really show.  However, hit each spot a few times with this stuff and scrub it hard with a towel and they disappear!

Then, once the ball is totally clean, you can hit it with some Storm Reacta Shine to keep it nice and shiny.  I have played 60+ games on this ball and it still looks new with the exception of track marks.  Once that gets out of hand, I will get the ball resurfaced.
