Recharge vs. Inferno

Hey what conditions will the recharge handle and what are you guys thoughts of the ball. How do you think it compares to the inferno, which is the better ball.

Inferno revs up faster. Earlier than Recharge and handles carry down better.
Also Inferno handles more oil than Recharge.
Recharger is longer and sharper in comparison.

For me, Recharge is one step down from Inferno.

I like both but for different purposes..

Hope this helps,
Burak

Recharge is pretty skid snappy!  Traditional skid snap reactive!

Inferno is the activator coverstock.  More reaction in oil less reaction off dry!

Smoother.

I agree with Burak (yet again).
Remember the Inferno's RG is much lower than the Recharge's (2.45 vs 2.54) and the Activator cover strock is stronger than the Monsoon's.

That said, I love the idea of the Monsoon coverstock; it is one of the stronger and smoother coverstocks being made today. Balls, like the Atomic, the Recharge and the Hot Rod Pro Stock and HTPS Pearl, have the makings of an awesome arsenal.

I must agree with Burak on most of his reply..

I have a Recharge and a Inferno.. And both with the same layout..

For me they both have a skid/snap-reaction..
But i can use my Recharge on everything from med/dry-med/heavy.. A very good allround ball.. But with a lot more hook than i was looking for..
Compared to my Inferno which i usually only use on med-med/heavy conditions..

I've had my Inferno for 2+ years and still loving it.. Great ball..
Recharge is great too, but too much hook for my liking.. But i'll keep it in the bag for now..

If you want to tame down the skid/snap of the Recharge and make it more like the inferno you can scuff the shell lightly and let the recharge read a bit earlier in the oil. We do this also to combat the oil carrydown.

Monsoon is the best coverstock on the market right now, and that being said, a more accurate comparison would be with the XXX and the Inferno.  However, if you're looking to ADD the Recharge rather than make a decision between it and the Inferno, I'd still say the Recharge.  It's going to be snappier, of course, but it rolls up really well, and if you drill it strong enough, you'll have a lot more versatile ball than the Inferno.  Just stack it, and coverstock changes will let you cover a broader range of patterns.

No, really, I like you.  Now, by all means, feel free to go fornicate yourself with a sharp object.
