Recommendation for female
« on: October 08, 2007, 11:08:27 AM »
Need some more help, my girlfriend started bowling again and she's a beginner.  She has slow ball speed, and very low revs.  She luggages the ball but almost drops it.  She only balls on wall synthetic, usually dry, occasional medium oil.  I'm kind of a Storm fan so could you guys recommend a ball for her?

I was looking at Tropical Storm, and Spit fire, but all recommendations are welcome.

I would go with a tropical storm or perhaps a jolt or a jolt pearl

I would strongly recommend a Jolt Solid.  While I know many on these boards are big on the Tropical I would argue that for someone who throws as you describe a Tropical would be snappier then needed.  The reason I drill Jolt Solids for more beginners is that the Jolt is smoother when it hits the dry than the Tropical.
