Slightly Older storm balls
« on: April 23, 2010, 07:04:03 PM »
Does anyone still use older Storm equipment like the Shift or Special Agent?

I recently redid the cover and extracted oil from my Shift and it rolled really well.  I was surprised at it's movement and how well it read the lane.  It grabs at the midlane and then arcs strongly to the pocket.

My Special Agent still has life in it as well but I like that ball better polished with it's current layout.

For some reason, my Rapid Fire Solid is really smooth on medium patterns.  I guess the pin down drilling tame down the back end reaction I read about.  I tend to bring that ball out first and then ball up or down as needed.

I'm still using my Eraser, a ball I bought in 2001, and it still hits great. I put a 4000 abralon finish on it, works great on lighter oil & broken down shots.
