Just so I understand....Reign of Fire, which to me was a turd because it picked up too much in the midlane and had a hard time storing energy....with a stronger coverstock?

The regular IQ is almost unsellable because it's everything bowlers don't want....early...rolly....lazy....and this is the same cover?

Maybe the ROF did way better $ wise for storm, than the VR solid did...thats the only thing i can think of...
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

My overall take on this is that the IQ was obviously way to rolly, lazy, smooth, early. While this is a really great tool for a bowler to have, it doesnt appeal to the masses. this ball also released a whole new coverstock for storm, and i think they would really like to see it work. So why not throw it on a much higher RG ball, to get it the core from burning up, hopefully giving the bowler the down lane motion that appeals to them.

I think storm policy indicates that a core/cover has to be out of the line for 2 years before it can be reintroduced (but i think the don carter/wiseman balls ruined that idea) so its perfectly acceptable to see the CAM core again.

I'm not saying they can't use it....Storm can use whatever it wants for a core.  I'm just saying I don't think it's very smart.  I just renewed by VIP and will request not to get this ball....will get more out of a Frantic.

the cover is a big part of this yes. but the core switch between the iq and reign cores is HUGE and will be a completely different ball.

Don't knock it, if you ain't tried it.

Personally, I think this is a smarter idea than the Sync...

This we can agree on....Too much cover and int diff of .028??? Haven't we learned our lesson cores that are that sensitive to layout and quick to find their PSA?

Nope, and EVERY Storm staffer is saying how "we must have" the Sync. Its the end all, be all.

Rumor mill says Storm has something in the works that might make laying out these beasts a little easier for the masses. I wouldn't hold your breath though, I could have been hearing things again.

Yeah I'm not really going to waste my time with it.  The Invasion and the Nano burned me enough.

They're great for making a "wall" appear on even the flattest "flooded" shot... Don't need to blow a hole in most house shots though...

Especially when the house does such a great job in already creating said hole before the 10 minutes of practice.  Outside the Lucid, I tend to use more master line equipment anyway.

higher rg cam core should make all the difference, the main thing is it looks better color wise than the victory road solid and smells better from a customers stand point, and will be a decent amount of hook for not too bad of a price point. think this one will be very good on tougher sport shots. it was hard to see what that pft cover did because of that heavy centripital core. hopefully it shines on this one.

a lot of times people buying these strong balls are looking for it to hook downlane when in reality it is hooking throughout the lane.  however I think the sync may be a little bit overboard
