One of my centers is neglecting to fix the shot that is becoming very dry week to week.

I usually only buy higher end pieces....and from that you guys can do the math.

In terms of mid price pieces...that i have left are pearl or hybrid I have a crossroad and a hyroad

I don't need gurus getting super technical BUT I would like to discuss what to get and why.

I do line up pretty deep...and all of storms recent pearl symmentricals have something to offer that intrigues me.

OK so here's the 5 I have in order of what I think will be the best fit, granted I don't need a super dry lanes ball...just a little push down lane to help me from forceing the ball all night. I bowl on wood lanes fyi.

1. Fringe is probably the best choice...weakest of all 4
2. VR pearl..just because I have the crossroad, and it almost does the trick
3. Fire road, I assume the cover is too strong, but I loved the VE at this house
4. IQ tour pearl...its got the low flaring core, but the cover is probably too strong. The marvel pearl did not work at all at this house, but the fit was off.. punched up at baton rouge
5. Bandit....recently purchased a outlaw and LOVE it..but how strong is the cover? I assume it fits just above the VR pearl in strength
Let me know what you guys think. I'm 15.5 mph, rev dominant... pap 3Â¹/Â² over, Â¹/⁴ down.

I think one has to very carefully distinguish between dry and Wet dry.

I have a house I bowl in whith decent head oil but the backend is so harsh reacting that it looks like sandpaper when the balls first make contact with the dry down at 35 feet, IF they are pearly in nature at all.

Instead I throw most solids and the reaction is smooth. Acting DRAMITICALLY differently.

I use a sonic X and get smoothness. I use a Sonic X pearl and get a jump and a snap from a core that usually only moves very rounded on most shots with any blend. Today's comparable ball is the Rotogrip Shout.

As the shot blends down I go to my Sonic Boom(today's comparable a Shatter).

I use nothing stronger.

One of my other houses is wet dry..i use solids there...anything from the vivid to an outlaw they all work great. I think i just need to get something weak and go from there..

Alot of people are saying they like that shatter! I may have to check it out too...lol so many choices!

For me my Bullwhip is way to strong for the drier conditions...I have a 5 x 5 on it and it to much front to back. I like the Bullwhip just not for the dry.

Pending on length of the pattern I will either be near 5 or in at 20 with it. Usually the ball fits me better playing them from in.

My exact comments made above we see the same thing. I do not play out or a down and in trajectory when heads blow up and transition. Not sure what you mean then when we agree.

I ordered a roto grip wrecker..i wasnt even excited about this until i started seeing it in videos...does anyone have it yet? How much weaker is this than the crossroad? How much more than the rising star?

Im assuming it is going to be just what the doctor ordered haha....
