Replacement for the IQ Tour

My son is looking to replace his IQ Tour with something that won't leave a tap :)
He's finally gotten tired of the 9s when they're not necessary.

Anyone want to suggest a similar style ball that will carry?
Thinking Torrent or Hustle Ink, but open to suggestions.

I thought getting 9 with my IQ tour solid was just me. I hit the pocket and the 10 pin says F-you lmao. I am so frustrated with this ball. I will be looking at this thread closely.

after 3 years with my IQ solid i went to the lochness monster by monster bowling. that ball is the definition of benchmark. able to handle all but the extremes and i can play anywhere from 2 board to 4th arrow with hand position changes. they are poured by 900G in San antonio.

Save it for tournaments, you'll be glad you did. I keep mine stored for this reason, hasn't let me down yet.

AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA.  Sorry, had to get that out.  Imagine an IQ Tour tapping somebody all the time, who'd have thought?  :o ::) ;D

Anyway, Torrent is a great ball that nobody is talking about, isn't getting near the attention it deserves, so he should be happy.  Hustle Ink does virtually the same thing the Tour does, it's just longer and stronger, and about 4ish boards weaker, so yeah, would have to take the cover to 2000 or so.
