Title: Ride is one awesome ball for wood lanes
Post by: ryguy119 on May 04, 2018, 10:24:46 AM
Been struggling lately at our City Tournament.  Pattern is easy but carry is pretty tough. Old wood house. Decided to make a trip to basement and see what I had down there. I found my old Ride and decided to bring it with. Started terrible in doubles and then switched to Ride in game 3 of doubles.  I shot 239 last game of doubles and then proceeded to shot 300- 214-257 for a 771 in singles. Missed taking scratch lead by 5 pins but as of now I am sitting in 2nd place. Amazing how a ball that you haven't used in years can be the answer you have been looking for. That is my 3rd 300 with the Ride. I guess it has earned a spot back in my bag.

Another Hall of Fame ball Storm should re-issue.  I vote for it and the Virtual Gravity.

I threw almost nothing but the Ride on our high friction house shot for a year straight. I do wish they'd re release it since mine cracked

I still use my Ride and it's my all time favorite ball!  I just acquired another one that looks almost brand new, just need to get it plugged and re-drilled.
