I agree that the Sky is just as strong as the Rocket. For me, the closest comparison is the Fired Up. This ball is a winner.

Optimus Solid is very similar to the IQ Tour Nano, but the shape is different.  It's smoother and more continuous.  I can get deeper with the Optimus and it will still continue through the pocket, whereas the Nano is like every other IQ, you can only get so deep before it starts coming off the spot flat.  It gets down the lane extremely clean for me though.  What it really reminds me of is the original Brunswick Fury.

The Sky Rocket reminds me of the original Trauma . .

I got both this and the Optimus Solid a week ago.  The Sky Rocket IS more angular off the spot, but believe it or not, it actually seems to hook more.  Length is very similar, but the Sky is stronger and quicker off the spot, and therefore covers more boards when it starts moving if both are at box.  Couple other staffers have made that comment as well.  Because of the surface prep, the Rocket doesn't really have any more traction in the oil than the Sky does.  I actually have to move right with my Rocket because it's slower and smoother off the spot.  Hope to have a video out soon.

What can you say about the Optimus Solid?

Holy cow the specs between the Sky Rocket and Rapid Fire Pearl/ Fired Up are really close! Wonder if Storm is going to make a solid Rocket with a shiny surface.
