My Mighty Shift review...now with pictures added
« on: January 31, 2009, 10:17:01 AM »
I was given a Mighty Shift for Christmas by my girlfriend. I finally decided to get it drilled today. It has the Gravity core and the R2S hybrid particle coverstock. The specs on the ball were a 3" pin and 3.3 oz. top weight. The OOB surface was 2000 abralon, which i knew i would never be able to use except on heavy oil conditions, considering my rev rate and ball speed. So i polished it up with Storm Xtra Shine. I had it laid out 5x3mb, pin up. The layout is similar to my Sure Fire, but thats the only similarity. It rolled nice and carried very well considering the crappy conditions that i was practicing on. I was able to stand at 25, playing 20 out to the 7 board and hitting high flush every shot. Overall its a very nice ball and will definitely have a place in my bag.
