Secoond ball choice
« on: April 23, 2009, 11:33:12 AM »
I have a Rapid Fire Pearl drilled with pin above ring finger, the thought was this would be my "med/dry" lane ball. Ball is working out great but stronger than I expected. Used it for all three games in league last week and did well. I would still like to add a ball to my bag. Where would the Rapid fire fit in? could it be drilled stronger to handle the heavier oil better than the Pearl. I find I have to move forward on the approch with the Pearl in the third game to avoid 7s ( I am left handed)

If you went with a Rapid Fire, I would think adding a little surface to it would be a good idea.  2000 abralon would help you handle a little more oil, otherwise the balls might be a little too similar to make having both worth it.  Good luck!
