Does anyone have any idea when the Secret Agent is coming out? You can preorder at allstarbowling, but I'm not too sure I want to do that.

I can't see how either of these balls won't totally rule.  I have to try a T-Road Solid at some point.

why storm just wont give up on the violet and blueish color?

The color is very nice.  Why give up?  They probably find that people like those colors.  Plus they have some red ones.

I agree...
most people judge a ball by it's color even if they say they dont.
keep using the color until it dies (in marketing terms)

the new Tropicals are new color combos.
Blue and orange / blue and lime green

*CANT WAIT*

even tho my T-Road Pearl hooks enough in oil anyway.

I normally use my Tropical as my every game ball.

Darker pigments hook more in oil, if you look at every oiler made the last 10 years it is hard to find a lighter color ball that covers medium-heavy on up.

The viscious particle comes to my mind as one of the last super strong light colored bowling balls. The NV is also a very light colored ball for such a strong cover but overall that is why they all use dark pigments like purple and black.

Let's hope stronger. I would like for the Secret Agent to go about my Black Widow (drilling in profile)

Can't say as i have ever heard that about pigments. Darker usually used in oilers as they are more porous or gritty and pick up more crud so on lighter colored balls all the crud would show. Perception is still a big feature for more most bowlers and showing a dirty or worn surface might mean less than anticipated results.  Only exception I have heard was white which Titanium dioxide was used (Bone XS) It tended to skate more than anticipated and was rumored to be from the pigment used.
