Thunderstruck Pearl

How does the Jolt compare to the Thunderstuck pearl? Any one own both? I'm just curious to see the how they compare. I loved my TSP and would mind getting another but if the Jolt is as good or better I would get one. It looks like I can save some cash getting the Jolt as well...

I use my TSP and Jolt Pearl alot I would buy the Jolt Pearl again for sure.
I have 8 other Storm balls that I could throw my house shot is a LIGHT oil
Pattern. Shot 300 with the Hot Rod Hybrid on 3/14. I like TSP, HHR & JP
& Tropical Storm alot those 4 ballS for Light oil. Jolt Pearl would be my #1
pick if the THP is to STRONG for the Pattern.

i had this question/debate as well. You say the jp is better if the tsp is too much, but how much more is that ball? Do you have them layed out the same? I'm looking for one or the other, going to probably put the pin above my middle finger, to get it down the lane.

The core of the Thunderstruck pearl is stronger and the cover of the ball is Reactor, so it should be significantly stronger, especially on the backend.  The accutread pearl to me was a great cover which got down the lane but didn't over react on the backend.  If you have a dry shot with the backends still fairly open I'd opt for the Jolt Pearl, if the shot has carrydown the thunderstruck pearl would probably be better.

Ballsdeep is right on it...
The Jolt pearl is much cleaner through the front works very
well on LIGHT to MEDIUM patters.
Both balls have the pin above the fingers...
The Jolt Pearl is a very good...

Being good will keep you from being GREAT...

I've got both the Thunderstruck Pearl and the Jolt.  I find the TSP more versatile and smoother than the Jolt

There are certainly instances in which the JP may appear more angular as it is weaker overall, and doesn't have the midlane that the TSP will have.  The Accutread pearl is a less angular cover than the reactor however.

Thanks for all the replies.

I'm looking to fill a gap in my arsenal. I would like either the TSP or the JP to fit in between my Paradigm and HotRod Hybird. My Paradigm is fairly tame, nice ach in the backend and my Hybird is very very smooth off the break point, great for over under..
