Secret Agent specs
« on: July 04, 2007, 09:56:03 AM »
I'm going to be ordering one, and I would like to know how heavy of top weight and how long of pin I should get. I'd like this ball to hook more in the midlanes but still have some pop in the backend. Most of my other stuff save their energy for the backend and would like a little bit of a different reaction. Nothing too early though, becuase I know I wouldn't be able to use it much. Thanks.

I have mine drilled 4 1/2 x 4 3/4 i like it in box finish, a staffer i know says it really picks up in the mid's at 2k no polish.

He states that most league bowlers will prefer the overall hook at 2k, i have no tilt so for me the 4k box is perfect. I have many other balls like the Special Agent if i need more mid lane performance, i really like the ball and i will be grabbing a Sure Fire when they release in a few more weeks.

Yeah, but I'm looking for top weight oz and pin length. I heard longer pins make the ball go longer, don't know about top weight.

LOL...

Longer pins don't make a ball go longer, they allow for higher pin placements which will give balls more length.

Not really, but what's the use of trying to convince you otherwise...

Get 3-4 pin and around 3oz of top weight, so it will be alot easier to go pin up.

Yes 0-1 inch pins tend to be rollier since they are usually drilled pin near the mid grip line, i have seen pin over ring 0-1's they still get down the lane fine.

I didn't really want a go long and snap ball, just a ball that hooks in the mids. My Black Widow is pin up and goes long and snaps. I just want a different look.

Go pin under finger line with the same 4 1/2 pin to pap and i will bet it will be perfect, mine is pin uder ring which is 4 1/2 pin to pap for me. I have every agent and this one is the best rolling of the group.

Good luck and happy bowling
