Hot Wire vs. Super Charge
« on: February 23, 2004, 07:03:23 PM »
I need some assistance from the Storm heads around here.

I am looking to finish out my arsenal, and I am seeking a controllable ball for medium to medium heavy.  I have been checking out the reviews and specs on the Hot Wire and the Super Charge and think that I will go with one of these, as I would really like to add a Storm ball to my lineup.  My current arsenal consists of:

Black Cherry Bomb - Med Heavy to Heavy
Silver Streak Pearl - Skid Flip Medium
Sonic X Pearl - Light to Med Light

I love the SSP thus far, but want a control ball for mediums to get a different look.  From what I have read thus far, I would love to get a Super Charge, but I am slightly concerned that it could be too strong.  I am thinking about getting a longer pin and maybe altering the surface if it's more than I am looking for.  However, the Hot Wire might be a nice option as well, and I could stick to the factory finish and not worry about forcing a ball to be something that it might not be.

Anyway, I am looking for a good compare and contrast between these two from anyone that is familiar with both.

Oh yeah, I am a high 14 to low 15 MPH stroker.

Thanks in advance.
