I was hoping someone who has rolled the SoniQ and either the Roto Deranged and/or Asylum can compare them. I absolutely love my trusty Deranged on house conditions, and loved the Asylum until it cracked. I like the way the Deranged isn't super skid/flippy for a pearl, but still doesn't burn up like a solid would. Based on what I'm hearing about the SoniQ, that sounds like the same characteristics.

I just bought the Son!q just over a week ago. I had the Asylum and the Deranged. There is no comparison, The Son!q is so much better (imo) than the other two it's not even a contest. It just had to be an omen because when I got the Soniq on 2-21 I picked it up and left the shop. I used it for the first time Friday at league. 300 out of the box for game 1 --- The Deranged for me was too in-consistent -- the Asylum kept leaving 10 pins. I can't tell you just how good the Soniq rolls - at least for me. And IMO the best 1-2 punch is the Son!q and the Intense! They are without a doubt the best 2 balls for me in a long time!

You'll see some of those traits for sure. The Son!Q for the masses is a better ball. I loved my Asylum more with shine possibly due to the strong layout I had on it.
