need some help!
« on: March 13, 2007, 03:14:57 PM »
hi, i have med revs and med ball speed. right now i have an Agent and a Scorchin' Inferno. what should i add to my current arsenal? i was thinking of getting a ball that would be in between my Agent and Scorchin' Inferno, or a ball that would suit dry lanes. I still don't know which would be better, but this was what i was considering - Special agent(drill it pin above ring finger for later roll), or Tropical Storm.

other suggestions on what to add to my current arsenal would be greatly appreciated as the season in my area is gonna start.

thank you, storm rules!

I'd also see no point putting another ball between the Agent and the SCI. They should complement each other well OOB.
I'd also rather look for an addition "below" the Agent, when the lane dries up. The Agent has a very low RG and much differential, so something that saves energy for the back end might prove useful.

A Tropical Storm or a Power Groove might be a cheap but versatile addition, or any other higher RG/med. RG diff. pearl ball with a milder coverstock. A Punisher (soon to be discontinued and cheap) or a Jolt Pearl are balls that come into my mind, a purple Vibe or a Burgundy Pure Hammer might also be an option.

Question: What type of oil is the Scorchin' typically used for and what type of reaction does it have?

usually for heavy oil, when my agent doesn't seem to do the job. it has a smooth reaction, not an angular break and pin carry is good.

Ok I see.  So you have more of a need underneath the Agent than between the two.
