Storm Dark Thunder
« on: March 22, 2007, 02:26:00 PM »
I have had these balls laying around for some time now. I haven't used them because they both seemed to burn up too early for me, on what the house conditions were given me. I have one drilled aggressive and the other is drilled kinda stacked. I decided to pull them out and try them again because of the funky wet/dry conditions I have been dealing with. Well guess what the balls are working like a dream. Everything else I have is over reacting and these too balls are working awesome with eath other. I went back to back 700's in wet/dry, where I have been struggling to get good ball reaction.

I had the same problem with the ball... it just rolled funky for me (I had mine set up 4.5" Pin-Pap w/ the CG kicked out an inch).  It was junk on almost everything but gold on over under.  On a side note I love the Dark Thunder Pearl (Have one drilled up 5" pin-pap cg under the ring finger that I use on THS and most mediums, and tried one 4.5" pin-pap cg kicked out w/ a hole 2" under my PAP and i didn't like it as much).

I had the same experience when i first got my dark thunder .  I have mine also set up 4.5 pin to pap, cg slightly kicked out.

I took storms step two to it, brought it up to about 2000-2500 with a decent shine on it, and there it became a monster on over under.

I also have a Dark Thunder. Mine would lose it's energy too soon on our medium
oil house shot. I polished it with Track Clean n Sheen and then it hit very hard!It even worked well on light carry down with this surface.
