Well I have been thinking of getting a reign but I'm not sure if I really need it or not. This summer I am bowling on a league that uses both house shot and PBA shots like the animal patterns and us open. This is what I have right now.
Virtual Gravity
Invasion (hook 4-5 boards less than the gravity)
Hy-Road
Natural

Personally, I would consider something to go between the HyRoad and Natural. I would do a Fast or 2Fast.

If anyone out there is worried about the scores being too high, try duckpin!!

I too am considering a Reign. I currently have a 1000 abr Attitude Shift for heavy, and 2000 abr Virtual Gravity and OOB Virtual Energy. My step down ball from these is an old Hammer Doom. Will the Reign be too close to the VE? I'm kinda considering replacing the Doom and build on the lower end of the arsenal. I know a guy that just drilled a Fast hoping to get a down and in reaction but he is getting a ton of hook and its not what he was looking for. Not sure of his layout though.

I think the Reign would fit nicely between the Invasion and Hyroad, but must admit I like the idea of the fast between the hyroad and natural more.

I think I might get a reign with pin below ring. I've thrown one like that and I liked the reaction. It should fit between the natural and hyroad. The hyroad hooks a lot more than I expected it to. I was using it on the scorpion last night. It went over 4th arrow out to about the 10 board and snapped VERY hard. On a house shot it doesnt work for me at all unless I throw it a lot faster. I tend to get an over/under reaction.

My current arsenal that I feel can cover any pattern:
Invasion - pin down
VG - pin up
Hyroad- pin down
Reign - pin up
Tropical Heat pearl - pin up
-The Reign has made me alot of money since its release when the Hyroad rolls up a bit to quick and you want a ball to get a bit longer but keep the angular motion on the back the Reign is the go-to ball
