Gravity Shift surface question
« on: December 29, 2008, 01:25:44 PM »
My Gravity Shift is drilled 4 3/4" pin to PAP, pin below the fingers. Right now I believed it's polished with Secret Sauce. It's too strong it seems. I'm not sure exactly if it's too strong overall or just on the backend. I believe it's the backend, because I am able to use an Attitude Shift and Dimension just fine, and they also have stronger drillings. I'd like to make the Gravity hook a little bit sooner, but not make it stronger overall if it's possible. I have all abralon grits and I also have polishes such as Black Magic XL, Secret Sauce, Snake Oil, Ebonite Factory Finish, and Resurrection. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with my smash zone so I took it to 4000 and that did the trick for me, smoothed it out.

Indeed!

I have my G. Shift at 4000...smoother than what.  And if you need a little length, throw on some High Gloss polish, or any other polish without a compound on it.
