Match Up Solid
« on: June 02, 2017, 10:45:29 AM »
What I was looking for:

The Match Up Solid was drilled with the Pin Down. I am a cranker and I have high ball speed. I wanted the ball to read early and provide me with great reaction when heavy oiled lanes begin to break down.

What I got:

The Match Up solid was very close to what I was looking for. The ball had a great early roll and smooth rolling motion throughout the entire pattern. The ball had great pin reaction. I found the Match Up Solid to be about 3 to 6 boards stronger than the original Match. To my surprise I found this ball to be great when the lanes broke down but to my amazement was that I was to get a solid reaction and great low flying pins for maximum pin carry. The price of the ball is a steal for the power and controllability you get from this ball.

Another MUST HAVE that hits like a truck. Please don't forget our other favorite keywords that make us run right out to buy the ball...

- Continuation
- Versatility (you covered that fairly well)
- Colors make it easy to see transition
And for Storm, the all-important smells good

I think we should start rating these staffer reviews. I'd give this one a 4.5 - 5.

damn, I was looking into this ball but this statement right here.........."the Match Up Solid to be about 3 to 6 boards stronger than the original Match"

That just turned me off. I don't need another stronger ball. I've been leaning away from Storm ever since I got the Breeze solid. That ball was a THS wonder for me along side the Heat. The Condition at the center hasn't changed much, but Storm balls get beefy every time.
Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

And the Russians give a score of ________

In all seriousness, I've gone away from Storm/Roto but I really want to throw this ball actually. I liked the idea of the Match series but I haven't been a big fan of the roll i've seen. I think these will be better in my eyes
