Does anyone no how a Storm Fast would react when compared to a Storm  Hot Rod Prostock pearl?

I really like my prostock pearl but it's 5 years old and has been resurfaced already. I want to match it as close as possible.

The cover on the Fast (R2S pearl)is a lot stronger than on the pro stock pearl (monsoon pearl). On todays oil, my pro stock pearl has a skid/snap reaction. It flies through the front, and unleashes in the backend. Now the biggest problem with that, is it becomes very speed sensitive because of the weaker cover. A fast will give you earlier hook and more control in oil than what the Pro stock pearl will. Last years Street Rod pearl had a stronger cover than the prostock as well (Reactor pearl).
