Storm Intense Video Review
« on: October 15, 2017, 05:13:01 PM »
This one gets me excited like the Ink does.  It's a very simple ball, it hooks and backends a lot.  Why balls like the Phaze and Timeless get all the hype and then this one is kinda like, "oh yeah, by the way, we've got a new ball coming out or something . . I think . ." is beyond me.  The reaction says it all.

Man, balls that hook like that on the backend always catch my eye. The Intense looks like it's stupid strong off the spot.

Watched Jodi Woessner throw a few shots with this ball at the gto d/s today and it impressed me with her bowling style.

Wow haha. Nice video as always! I see this hurting anymore remaining sales for the No Rules Pearl a bit though. Like you mentioned, face value people see the No Rules Pearl. High end pearl Asymmetric with similar colors.

I'm curious as to what difference I would see from it compared to the Code Black. I'm guessing not as clean being the stronger cover but the backend is where my curiousity is peaked.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

Maybe, but it shouldn't.  NRP is still a pretty legendary ball, when this one goes too crazy on the back, NRP gives you the same look through the fronts and a bit more calm on the back.

Ball looks like what I need to get some backend movement with my low rev style, but I don't usually do pearls...

I've heard many positive comments on R2S... How about R3S on this one?

Didn't like it at all on the Snap Lock, think that core was just a bit too much with it, it stood up and jerked on friction.  On this ball it's really nice, they ticked the core down just far enough that it's not so crazy on dry.  This is one of the good ones.

SnapLock was a 2-8-10 or big four machine for me...so as good as this looks, I’m skeptical since it’s the same cover

Yeah same deal for me, it was really over under.  Wouldn't get down the lane, but as soon as you moved a few deeper, wouldn't make it back up the hill.  I don't want to talk you into it if you're concerned, might watch some more video and maybe wait for a friend to drill one first to see it in action.
