2nd Dimension vs...
« on: September 17, 2013, 11:27:08 AM »
Anybody have an idea of how a new 2nd Dimension would fare against a Berserk or Frantic?

I have a pin down berserk and pin up frantic that make a nice 1-2 punch (both box surface)

I have been happy with them so far, but I haven't had anything strong in a while, and am looking to expand my arsenal.  I recently stopped throwing my reign supreme (too many games on it) and Virtual Gravity (sanded to 1000 for tournaments).

I have a high rev rate with med-high speed and a very high track (almost over the thumb)

I love mine, completly unique reaction in my arsenal. It may be close to your beserk.  I have a outlaw and bandit...and the backend shape just isnt there.  The 2nd dimension was very fun to throw as it was a great combo of midlane traction (particle pearl) with a unique hook shape from the core.

The prodigy used the same cover, with the centripetal core (compared to the 2nd, the prodigy produced a overall smoother reaction)

Im sure there are some 'professionals' on here LOL that may have more to say..but that is my experience of the 2d so far.

Ha, thanks for the input.  I always like the way it looked when it first came out.  Any other suggestions that would give me something I don't have?

I'm thinking about a Defiant Soul with Polish.

Defiant Edge, Particle Pearl, smooth rolling core, ball digs in without getting sideways.

I still have not found the perfect replacement for my second dimension, but right now the closest thing I have found so far was the disturbed, but drilled for more length, and smoother reaction.

That was what I was thinking...but anytime I make a reference like that I get corrected haha.  Im hoping for the third ball in the disturbed line....hopefully they do something cool with the cover.
