Don't know for sure if it was due to the slight difference in drillings, or the strength of the covers, but the IQ was rolling out while the Marvel-S was still retaining some turn on it. You can see it (IQ) roll up on its psa (thumbhole) too soon.

Might be that the IQ cover/core matchup is just stronger and meant for more volume than the Marvel-S

NRG/ERG are still the strongest Storm covers.  PFT is at least a step below those.

then this can't be true. Nrg>pft

then this can't be true. Nrg>pft

 The IQ has a 4 1/2 X 5 with an X-hole, and the Marvel-S has a 5 X 51/4 with NO x-hole.

An earlier rolling drill on a dull looking 3000 finish  IQ, plus an x-hole to slightly further dynamics VS a very shiny looking 3000 finish on a ball with a weaker drilling and NO x-hole.

In today's environment, small changes like these can make a world of difference.

NRG>PFT may be true, but drillings and finishes can be altered to make appearances deceiving.

A little of topic,  but the tape that they put on the ball,  is it pin to PAP OR something else?

should be pap to above the bridge.  Furthermore, they should have used the same layout on both for a truer comparison.
