Does anybody know what this ball (http://"https://www.buddiesproshop.com/product/6851/Storm_Reign_Bowling_Ball_-_August_20th.htm") is? Pearl or ??? I read in a different thread it's going to be in the Thunder line, but it didn't say what it is. Looks like a pearl but can't tell if it's hybrid or not.

I thought on Buddies it said Pearl?
If it's a Pearl I hope it doesn't replace the T-Road Pearl becuase i love that ball. If so, it better be better than the T-Road Pearl, that's all i gotta say.
It wouldn't make sense to be a hybrid as they have the successful Hy-Road.
Better than the T-Road Pearl or not, everything in that line other than the Hy-Road is gone.

The ball has some bling. With that name I am surprised it wasn't released in the Roto Grip Relm If you had just shown me the picture and said it was made in Utah I would have guessed it was the new Sword Line ball. Perhaps it replaces the Rapid Fire in the Fire line?

Like I posted in another thread, reverse the order of the names and you get "Reign Storm (rainstorm)." Now it fits perfectly, like the old Thunder Storm and Lightning Storm balls.

Yep, I picked up on that - but what will the other new ball in this line be called? You have rain = Reign, sleet = ?, snow = ?, wind = ?, and hail = Hail.
I am having trouble thinking of a storm sounding name that can be spelled several ways. Since they have a Fire line of balls Storm has to be careful not to blur ball line image.
Hail would seem to be the best bet since it has more than one meaning - JMO

Maybe they aren't making a play on the word "Reign" but using the words meaning literally. A literal use is fitting considering the year they had on tour.
Reign = Surpreme power dominance

If you throw that one you will be known as the "Reign Man"

This thread is starting to look like the "Uranus" thread on the Roto forum!

So, if I may summarize all these posts, basically, no one knows squat, except the picture on Buddies' web site.

I thought it was an interesting looking ball, but I was surprised that Buddies had no info on it except the picture.
Now, there's all this guessing to little or no effect except to, I suscept, raise the level of interest in it. I figured someone would know something and leave a small hint, which can only be to Storm's benefit, but, I got down to reply #47 and ... bupkis.

FWIW - I might get a few tidbits of info on this ball tomorrow. Hard to say though since the release date is still more than 3 months away.

Well that's a fair summarization Charlest, LoL. Hopefully J-mac will get that info. But, yeah, hard to believe no useful info from Storm other than "tech data will be available at a later date". Thanks for that tidbit Justin..... Hey, just messing with ya.

Don't hold your breath... I'm pretty sure any of my direct questions will get shot down.
