Wow, what a great ball just got it drilled today and i threw 3 practice games of 246 237 235 then a few hours later in league i shot 256, 183... and a 290 the second game was totaly my fault. Was droping it at the line. what a great ball. Good job storm.

When the conditions are right, I love my Spit Fire.  It works great on wood lanes in particular (got me a 299 on a broken down, confusing, weird shot on wood lanes once!).  However, I have trouble with it when there's a little less friction in general, particularly on synthetic lanes.  I had a really bad over/under look last night, so I tried to pipe it up the dry boards with the Spit Fire the last game to go around it.  Left an 8-10.  Started moving around, still had trouble carrying the corners.  Moved in deeper and try to slow hook it a little.  Left another 8-10.  Ugh.  One of those nights I guess.

The frist game last night i was standing on 15 hitting around 5 and the break point was around 5 down lane, and i was crushing the pocket, keep in mind have more of an forward roll on the ball for this shot. second game i dont know why i decided to drop it at the foul line and that spells diaster right there never had a double that game.. Third game i move i was now standing on 20 hitting stright down 8, and i got the ball out on the lane and bam 290. I just got it drilled the yesterday. We changed my whole grip on the ball, the span was to long so we took some of that off, added some more reverse in the thumb, took fingers and pitched them 1/8 fowrard and took 1/16 off thumb to middle and 1/8 off thumb to ring. Wow the ball acutally feels right for once....
