Storm’s The Road utilizes the REX Hybrid coverstock and the Inverted Fe2 weight block.  The weight block is surrounded by A.I. Core Technology.  The Road is the next ball in the HyRoad line.  The HyRoad was one of my all-time favorites.  The Road can be thought of as an amped up HyRoad.  The REX cover is stronger than R2S cover used in the HyRoad, which helps control that mid-lane reaction.  I think The Road is going be useable on more conditions than the HyRoad.  I have been using The Road as a step down from the DNA Coil type balls during league the last two weeks.  My first two league games with it have been over 250.  You may have to be careful picking up your ball off the ball rack because The Road is very similar in appearance to the DNA Coil and Phase II.  At least that is a concern for us senior bowlers. Lol.
