Any idea where we will be able to purchase them?
At your local pro shop

It's comical seeing the guys who stocked them for later resale trying to unload them today. But still at a profit for $230 and up shipped hoping people didn't see the news about it
-
I have to admit I'm torn about the release of the Marvel Pearl. I loved that ball but, it was my first Storm ball to crack followed by my Critical Theory. I have since found the DV8 Vandal to have taken it's place.
I want it to be expensive enough so I'm not tempted. :-[

I agree. Did you see how long the Storm guy took to drill a IQ Tour Solid? I'm not sure he's on the up and up...

Had a marvel pearl back in the day. Drilled it at baton rouge open championships. The storm booth didn't have the regular guy and he didn't do the best job....I flipped it for $80 and never looked back....Got rid of it based on fit!
I got 5 300s with the marvel solid...I love the core.
I tend to not buy balls much anymore that are brand new...Unless I gotta have it. I tend to wait for clearance..
-
I have a 14 lb Marvel Pearl on it's 3rd drill and it hits like it's 20lbs when the backends are clean. If I had to pick one ball out of the 24 balls I own to throw one strike for a million bucks it would be the Marvel Pearl.

Are yall sure Storm is putting it out, or is it the distributor making a limited run thru Storm to re make it?
-
Looks like it's official! Storm's site has been updated with the MP, Code Red, and the Match Up solid and pearl

Are they releasing the Marvel Pearl in only 15lb? Looking at the site it only shows tech specs for 15lbs and nothing else.

The tech sheet which looks updated with the same images shows 12-16

For those of you that are sure you are buying one or more of the new Marvel Pearls, it would be a good idea to place your order now with the distributor of your choice. This production run is going to be limited to exactly the amount of balls ordered by staff and distributors. They will not be carrying inventory and running this offer for an extended period of time.
If your distributor doesn't place an order in advance (by May 31), they will not have access to purchase after the May 31 cut off for orders.

Wow me too my first ball to crack ever is my storm marvel pearl. And it cracked like a month ago less than 30 games :(.

Already called my PSO.

Looks like it's slotted at the premium price point though... given, not a huge jump from the cost of a master line piece but still

I call bs on the limited run. We all know how that goes. "due to unexpected demand, (actually expected of course) we have decided to extend the limited production for X amount of time." then the extension deadline is overlooked and the ball stays in production for a lot longer. But to increase immediate sales, especially with it being a summer release, they impose the deadline on a ball that will surely sell well. Just a different hype train tactic. And a clever move on their part.

It's on Storms website
