Storm/Roto Tournament Arsenal Help
« on: August 18, 2014, 08:32:15 AM »
I am looking for some advice on a tournament arsenal for the this year. I am planning to bowl more regularly in tourneys this year than previous years and want to make sure I have my bases covered for ball selection. I normally bowl two THS leagues. No specific patterns in mind for the tournaments but will probably be mostly house (or modified house) shots with an occasional sport shot here and there. My specs: Righty, Speed=18mph, revs=~400, high axis tilt (track right next to my thumb), low-medium axis rotation depending on where I'm trying to play the lanes. Here is what I have for equipment at the moment in what I perceive as heaviest to lightest oil handling:

Storm Sync Perfect-pin down
Roto Grip Critical Theory-pin in ring
Roto Grip Asylum-pin up
Storm Frantic-pin up
Roto Grip Rumble- (awaiting drilling, can't decide pin up or down)
Plastic

I am look for advice on any gaps I may have and what could be good Storm/Roto balls (currently available) would fill any gaps I might have. Thanks for your help.
"Bowling is simple so don't over complicate it: stand here, throw there."
Currently in the bag: Lock, Critical Theory, Asylum, IQTP Frantic, Buffalo Bills Spare

Need a ball under the Frantic and Rumble. I'd suggest a Scream or Breeze to fill that spot unless you would rather go with urethane like the Supernatural
