Gravity Shift: what's your fav. surface?

I have a Gravity Shift and was thinking of tweaking the cover of the ball, and was curious what everyone's favorite surface was?

I have tried it with 4 surfaces:

OOB: Smooth as a baby's butt
2000 Abralon: Picked up earlier, could handle a little bit more oil easily.  But that versatility  flew out the window medium patterns became a serious hassle
2000 Abralon with a hint of Beans Sauce: Moderately close to OOB, but on some oil that was a bit heavier/longer, it skated and plowed the 3-6 pocket.
Resurrection and Snake Oil: Probably the closest thing to OOB I've seen out of the others that weren't OOB.  It picks up a bit earlier than it used to, but it's still continuous and throws pins around like whoa.  This is what I currently have it at.  If I were to change anything from this, it would be to increase the length a smidge, just a smidge.

Just for reference:  I have my Gravity drilled pin down, 4.5 to PAP, MB on (or right next to) VAL, 4.5 to PAP.

Basically the same as mine...I was wondering what it'd do at 1000 w/polish. I didn't know if anyone had tried this yet?

Mine OOB was snappy, almost turning sideways at the breakpoint on some patterns. I hit it with 2000abr and it got less jumpier at the spot.

I get more use out of at 2000abr on competitive conditions. OOB was awesome when the puddle broke down and I needed to go across the pattern and back (slightly bigger wheel look)

All 3 of mine are out of box just using pin to pap and pin buffer distance to control length and breakpoint shape.

I have tried OOTB, 2000, and 4000 and I am much happier with 4000 at this point.  4000 gives me similar overall reaction as the box finish with a bit more control.  In general 4000 for pearl reactives gives me the best look.

I have one gravity that is pin under at 1000 abralon. Like it really well and 2000 is probably my favorite. Other gravity is pin above box finish like it really well too. Looked good in Albuquerque game 2 of singles.

Went 771, 771 my first two series with it at OOB and then 300 a few weeks later.  It is safe to say OOB is my fav.

pin up with almost 5 to pap

I was having trouble gettin my Gravity back to OOB. Tried a variety of grits and polishes to fine tune the reaction. I just did a hot water bath and scrubbed it with a green scotch brite to get all of the oil out of it. After that I sanded it back up to 1500 grit with automotive sand paper. Then applied storm reacta shine. I didnt over polish it I just put enough on it to remove the sand marks. For me this is the closest I have come to OOB for me.

4000 Abralon. At OOB it was too irratic off the spot. BTW it's at 5x3

I picked up a used one last week and the shop resurfaced it for me.  Luckily I had read some threads here about how getting it back to OOB is kind of tricky.  I never threw it in that state so I cannot comment on that.

What I did was sand to 1500 and put a small amount of Ebonite Factory Finish polish over that.  I haven't used it on anything really close to fresh oil yet.  I'm almost certain that I'm going to have to take it down to at least 1000 and maybe even 800 plus the polish to get the reaction I'm hoping for.  I did toss a 299 with it the other day during practice, but that was on some toast.  I noticed that it's starting to react better as I get more games on it.

Yes.  That also happened w/mine.  I like mine out OoB w/just the used surface.
