Hyroad isn't going anywhere
« on: September 28, 2017, 07:03:23 AM »
Every so often this rumor gets started, and it's like celebrity death hoaxes, somebody says something that gets everyone riled up before they ask a question to the right person and find out it's not a thing.  Hyroad is 9 this year.  It will see its 10th birthday next year.  It perennially continues to be one of their biggest sellers, and we were told just a few days ago that they have no data, numbers, or any conceivable reason that would support even having a conversation about it.  Hyroad is in absolutely zero danger of going anywhere anytime soon.  Keep calm and go buy another one.

Honestly I just think it was the drilling.  For whatever reason was just struggling to get a consistent release with it.  Had some success with finger tip drillings in the past but now I have gotten used to conventional finger 15lb balls just a bridge too far.  Having the fingers plugged and redrilled conventional and will try against next week.  Honestly expecting it to be much better if nothing else due to mental.  Fingertip just doesn't feel as comfortable for me any more especially at the start in my stance.   Really like how conventional drill feels now I am using a glove.  The fact the pin will also now be a bit higher can't hurt either.  As for friction if anything the ball was behaving better for me on the fresh but again hard to blame the ball for operator error.  Tried changing too many things at once and paid the price but luckily only in practice so far.  Good time to try stuff.

F=ma
Not a direct analogy, if you hit a bike at an angle it will.move but it would take more to move a bike with a 300lb man riding it

I would like to see a Hyroad with a Marvel S cover.
You're in luck, that's exactly what we're getting with the Hyroad Nano.
