Title: Surface on Virtual Gravity
Post by: strikestriketapped on June 24, 2009, 07:24:38 AM
I no longer will be saving the VG for tournaments because I have a Mega Friction and Sauce on the way. What surface do you guys have on your VG? Looking for the people that use the ball in league.

I took mine from box finish and polished it with Storm Step 3. Then i hit it with 2000 abralon. I use it on a 42ft. house shot.

As was already said, it comes box at 4000. If you're looking to tame it down, you're going to have to add polish. Be careful with that, though. Many balls lose their predictability when polish is added. If you no longer need the Virtual's ability to handle oil, you may want to consider selling/trading it off so that you can buy the new Virtual Energy, which is supposed to be more for medium to medium heavy. Still, you may want to wait on that option, too. The Mega Friction is an early-grabbing, early-rolling piece, and the Sauce is a midlane reader that offers arc on the backend. Personally, I still think the Virtual, even at box finish, gives you a different look than either of the two balls you're getting, so it may be worth keeping it as is so that you'll have that option when you need it.
