I own a wrecker and man is it a great ball. I am using it ahead of my dull frantic when I need length and and continuation of the end of the pattern. It isn't quite a skid flip motion, but it does look very close down the lane. And if you've thrown the rising star, this will push a little longer without being to squirting like the shatter. Not only that, but it hits hard as well!

I never thought about looking at roto grip. I have never seen Belmo or Duke throw anything other than strom in the recent years.

Belmo was throwing Roto Grip a lot last year when he won all those titles at the WSOB. He won a couple times using the Critical Theory and made that ball look fantastic.

Roto Grip makes some great stuff.  Since coming back to the game a few years ago, I have really been impressed with the versatility and reaction shapes I have using their stuff.  Roto Grip now makes up 85% of my arsenal.

I have never liked storm at all.

Went to a tournament this weekend with 4 of my 5 balls being storm/roto.

Friday I drilled up a "new" gravity shift. A ball I had years ago and got rid of. I threw it really good but something about storm I didnt like. (one guy that was a total d-bag that bowled around here threw only storm and let you know that). So I found a new one undrilled and punched it up friday and first game with it tossed my first 300.

Sometimes just gotta throw what works.

Belmo also threw the outlaw various times last year. And Duke threw the nomadic solid on tv a few years ago.

True story lsf_21.  I only have 2 Storm balls in my arsenal- the HyRoad and Frantic.  Those have been the only 2 from Storm that I found really match up with me and both are killer balls on the house shot league nights.  Both of those have been getting some high mileage lately.

The VG Nano didn't completely fit (cover changes and 2 redrills helped) and then the Anarchy was more condition specific than I wanted (redrill helped).  Eventually I sold those to a friend of mine and he has had no issues with those.

The Roto Grip stuff on the other hand have matched me very well and that's what I primarily throw now.  The Infinite Theory and Nomad Dagger are my 2 favorites that I throw at this point.  The Outlaw works really well for me when there is a little more wet/dry and need the heavy roll in back.

Biggest thing that can come out of this for anyone- make sure you have a good pro shop who takes the time to have you on the lanes, find PAP, and match you with equipment that best suits you, regardless of the brand.

Duke has also thrown the Outlaw on tv before too.  I think this was back when they were showing the qualifying rounds from Thunderbowl where he faced Ryan Ciminelli.

Then today, he threw the Disturbed and switched to the Wrecker.

Belmo's 300 was with the Critical Theory
