Going all Storm
« on: April 14, 2007, 12:53:57 PM »
Alright folks, I am finally going all Storm, and wondering what else I need in my arsenal.

So far:

Storm Special Agent at 4000 - Heavy
Storm Pyro - Heavier Mediums - Heavy - 4000 abralon as well
Storm Agent - Mediums - Benchmark ball
Storm T-Road Pearl OOB - Lighter Conditions
Team Storm Black Spare Ball

What else do I need folks? I might be drilling up another SpitFire and I also might drill a Tropical Storm.

I would suggest a Thunderstruck Solid in there and also a ball weaker than the T-Road Pearl.

The Thunderstruck Solid will give you a consistently smooth read and be a better bench mark ball than a Pearl reactive and it is just a very predictable ball that i've heard nothing bad about.

Also the T-Road Pearl is extremely strong, it has a ton of backend and the new R2S  Pearl reactive coverstock is very strong, I'd look at a mildly drilled 4000 grit = polish Jolt solid/pearl, your choice based on more or less snap.

Other wise it doesn't look bad but I would bet the Special isn't enough for floods.

I am going to be getting every ball released from now on. It's something between my driller and I, we are basically testers of the company.

Aren't you the one that when you find a certain ball that you like, you then decide to go all out on that company's arsenal, only to find that it doesn't suit you?

Do yourself a favor and save money. What is wrong with you current arsenal?

Too many bowlers change their equipment and arsenal...way more than they probably change their hand positions, speeds, targets...you name it.

Yeah, it was basically a big decision I had to do. I am going to be getting every ball released from now on. It's something between my driller and I, we are basically testers of the company.

But yes, I was very independant until I really wanted to only represent one company and throw my name on the back of their shirt.

No offense ThaCrank but I'm 99.9% your not a tester for storm and will not be throwing your name ON THEIR SHIRT. Seriously at 15 your not going to be sponsered, sure you may buy a storm shirt to wear and throw the storm equipment but you are not going to be staffed and it smells kind of fishy with you so called stats and you always have the High End ball, you've claimed to have the Widow, TNV, Special Agent, No Mercy, and the list goes on, i'm sure you paid for them yourself too.

You guys totally took it the opposite direction then it was intended to be.

I would be testing the balls on my own, for my bowling alley and northern region of Indiana. Nothing for Storm, or any representation.

I would be throwing Storm, and have my name printed on the back of one of their shirts, not getting a deal from Storm.

And to comment on the no stats on my record, they do not update the listing until the league is over. Which is in about 2 weeks or so, I have already went to them about that. I am 15 years old, and just a good bowler. You will see me at Junior Masters in Ohio, and Junior Gold in Buffalo and the Pepsi Championships as well after Junior Gold.

Trust me, I would not lie about shooting a 3 and an 8. Junior status is a joke as if you haven't heard it before.

Why would somebody lie about being a good bowler at the age of 15? I know a few dudes still in high school at the house I work at with around 220 averages, one of which is 14.

Its the exact reason being 15, i'm not going to say I don't believe ThaCrank or call him a liar but being that hes 15, the maturation process is in the beginning, and you have to remember its the Internet, anyone can claim anything, nothing is under oath so the truth gets bent and sometimes just ignored.

MY friend, who turns 15 in a month, has a santioned 300, 299, and 3 800s and a bunch more in practice. Being 14-15-16 has nothing to do with it

Also i think he is saying he has one santioned 800, the other 4 not

Is there a rule against printing your name on the back of a Storm shirt?  He likes Storm, why not?  He never said he was part of the staff or anything.  He said he is informally testing out stuff for people in his area.

Why does storm sell their shirts to the general public if they didn't want people to wear them?
