A compliment to the Dark Thunder Pearl
« on: July 02, 2007, 05:58:26 AM »
Hello,

I am looking for a ball for my g/f to compliment her current ball.  As mentioned its the Dark Thunder Pearl.  She has med/low speed and med/low revs.  We had luck with the Roto-grip RSX a few years ago.

After jumping between a few brands, she likes what Storm has to offer.  There are some specifics though, she seems to have the best results with symmetric cored pearl balls.

She is looking for a ball that can be used opening shift.  The Dark Thunder seems to work well when the shot has broken down, allowing her to move in and let the ball come back for her.

Right now I am thinking Spitfire...but I am not sure.

The second generation reactor cover on the t-road pearl is much stronger than the monsoon of the Dark Thunder. Mt pearl with a 6" pin outhooks my Dark solid with a 4  1/2 pin by 3 or 5 boards. The solid is polished

Stormed1-awesome stuff.  I was leaning towards the T-Road because I think the core shape and ball characteristics are similar to that of the DT Pearl.

I think this ball will be the one for her.  Much thanks!

The Horizon Pearl might be a ball to look at. It is the ball that replaced the RS-1 in the Rotogrip line up.
