T-Road Solid & Original Thunder Road

Gentlemen I am intriqued with the T-Road Solid, I loved my original Thunder Roads both the solid and the pearl. Since my elbow problems I dropped back to 14lbers so  I can no longer use the originals. Am I right in assuming the cores are the same and the only difference is the coverstock. Boy I sure hope so.

The coverstocks are WAYYYY different.  Curelyon (on the Thunder Road) is much weaker than R2S (on the T-Road Solid).

If you are looking for similar reaction to an original Thunder Road I'd look at either the Dark Thunder or the Thunderstruck.  You will get a closer reaction from either of these balls.
