Just wondering what the difference is between the two balls.

The biggest difference is the Eternal Cell is a solid and the Snap Lock is a pearl. I doubt they have the same reaction shape, but I could be wrong.

The Eternal is a little earlier and smoother at the breakpoint compared to the Snap Lock. Both balls are verrrrrrrrrrry good, just different reactions. Hope this helps.

I have both and I agree with this. My Eternal I keep at 2000 for an earlier smoother read, I can ball down to a Snap Lock that I keep at 4000 for more length and angle....then as I move in I can go to a shiny Hectic.

Different shapes in motion due to the cores also. Although both are asymmetrical, the Nucleus Core has always been one that tends to be heavy rolling whereas the Rad-X Core tends to have more of an angular motion and additional continuation. Both are good choices. Just as someone mentioned previously, it all depends on the motion you're looking for.

I have both as well, they are pin up with the Snap CG kicked out a little further than the EC.
The Eternal has a smoother motion and I like it on flatter sport patterns
The Snap does just that, snaps of the friction and is great on a THS

when used in reverse:
the Snap tends to be too over/under on a sport pattern especially during transitions
The Eternal on a THS will often drive through the pocket too hard, leaving splits or 9s

both good balls, but neither are benchmark or should be included in a limited arsenal

If you don't consider the ec a good benchmark ball what would you consider a good benchmark ball?
