Okay...I'm not up on this new series from Storm. I just looked at the specs and, except for the color, I don't see a great deal of difference between the two offerings. So....what is the difference between the two?

Interesting. I got to see both on the shelf at my local proshop today. They both seem to have 1500 polish surfaces. One thing I did notice was that, in person, the solid purple looks really good, much better then pictures on the net indicate.

I am getting the solid ThunderStruck some day next week, and I cannot wait. It will be the perfect ball for my arsenal for JWTC and Jr. Gold coming up, and it just looks niiiiiiiiiiiicccee...

That now makes 15 balls in the current line that have the Reactor coverstock.  That must be one versatile formula for them to be able to use it on everything from the lower end Tropicals to the higher end Agent and still get a wide variety of reactions.  The reactor is on the Agent, every ball in the Fire line, both balls in the Banshee line, both of the new Thunderstrucks, all of the Hot Rods and all of the Tropicals.
I haven't bought anything from Storm proper in a couple of years, I've been trying out other companies including baby brother Roto Grip.  I really liked the thunder core that they're using in these new balls so I might just have to come back to Storm for these two at least.
Rock On!

Whoa, I didn't know the Tropical had the Reactor coverstock.  And I own one.
