Well, I should have listened to y'all.

Just threw the new Sync (games 5, 6, and 7 in the last 13 months).  Drilled it the way I had intended (pin over middle, MB about an inch from thumb), rather than listen to y'all.  Only shot 670 with it.  Guess I'd have shot 671 if I had only taken your advice.   :-\ ::)

Just think if you would have listened, you would have shot 771 instead of measly old 670. ;)

Lol! Dirty old man. Sandbagging just to make us feel bad. Glad the layout worked out.

Ha, ha!! Nice figjam! And even better bowling! I guess this means you kind of like the  Sync, huh?

That layout for me is all about length with big backend! I'm glad you are comfortable with your layout and your new piece!

You only shot your average with the new ball? If you give it some time, your scores may improve.

Well TT, I shot my first league set in 13 months tonight.  747 - yes, I was an airplane.
This ball ought to be illegal.  I have from 4 to 14 with it.  Yes, house shot, but it is what it is.

Back to bowling, bought a Sync
« on: March 11, 2013, 11:39:14 AM »

    Quote from Ragnor...

As a reward for myself after returning to bowling after 13 months off, I bought a Sync (forget the fact that my ball speed is down about 30-40% right now).  I was going to lay it out with pin above ring about 1/2 inch and MB about 2 inches out from thumb.  If I remember layouts correctly this would be very strong.  BUT,   in the year or so before I quit I was using the same layout on everything I own, pin above middle finger and everything else swung out to put MB an inch or so from thumb.  The question is, how much different would this reaction be from my original idea for the Sync?

Correct me if I 'm wrong, but it seems you just asked for what the difference
would be... Between pin over middle finger compared to pin over ring finger...Doesn't appear that you were asking for suggestions on different layouts...

btw,   My DEAD sister says hi...

what a first class loser...knocking someones family members...

    Quote from Ragnor...

"CB, it's not that I need another ball.  In fact I have plenty of equipment that will cover everything from bone dry to heavy house shots.  I just decided, after years of looking for stuff that won't hook much, to get a big hooker (and no comments about JLS' sister, please).  I've heard comments about the Sync that a lot of folks can't use it until the oil migrates down some, so I may not be able to use it in my home house for a bit, untill I regain speed.  But I just wanted  something that moved."

Yep,  you're all class Ragnor...To show everyone your a big man, you stoop to
attacking family members...
